Description

Fast identifation and stabilisation of septic patients increases survival in both people and veterinary patients. We will discuss the definition of sepsis, the clinical signs that should prompt us to think about sepsis and then specifically the stabilisation and treatment of septic patients.

The afternoon is dedicated to trauma and an overall summary of the 7 webinar modules. Trauma patients may be mildly traumatized or present with polytrauma. This webinar will discuss the approach to the polytrauma patient based on several case discussions and will summarize the previous webinar modules in an additional case discussion.
